LMB insurance Services have Sponsored young minds services ltd to help educate young people to help them understand the issues on their safety and future wellbeing.
We’re proud to be sponsoring Young Mind Services on their continued mission within our local community & future generations. Helping to educate young people about issues around their own safety & wellbeing, covering the following topics:
- Road safety.
- Stable swimming.
- Environmental care.
- Alcohol, smoking & drugs.
- Stress, anxiety & bullying.
We nominated Plymouth High School for Girls, as our school to sponsor. Not only are they located right in the heart of the city, but they’re also a very short walk from our offices. We hope their pupils will gain lots of valuable skills & insights to help them navigate through life.
LMB insurance Services have sponsored Cornwood C of E Primary School.
Our Director, attended this humble primary school nearly 20 years ago and wanted to give something back to the local community where his family still resides today.
They make the most of outdoor learning opportunities, both in our school grounds and within the local area and further afield. All of this is underpinned by our values; compassion, trust, truthfulness, perseverance and forgiveness, which are consistently promoted by all adults and children.
The school is aiming to raise money for their community garden, they are hoping to plant fruit trees, learning about nature, sustainability and growing their own food.
The difference that Brazilian jiu-jitsu can make is nothing short of incredible. Physically BJJ is brilliant because you can adapt it to your abilities, and you get a workout that puts every part of your body on red alert. And the accompanying psychological benefits are something everyone notices as soon as they start training.
Whether you are diagnosed with PTSD, or simply suffering from a low mood or lack of purpose, when you spend a tough hour training, the volume on all your problems gets turned right down.
We will update you of our fundraising events that will run throughout the year, so keep a lookout.
ANDYSMANCLUB has over 120 free support groups nationwide, running every Monday from 7PM except bank holidays. In these groups, men can open up about the storms affecting their lives in a safe, judgement-free and non-clinical environment. Our clubs are designed to be free of pressure, there is no obligation for men to speak, they can simply listen if they wish.
With over 2800 men using our sessions every week, and an army of 900+ volunteers on board, the movement is continuing to grow week-by-week. We firmly believe in the power of talking and that #ItsOkayToTalk.
Established in 2016 by Elaine, Andy’s Mum, and Luke, Andy’s Brother-in-Law, the aim of the club is to provide men with a safe space where they feel comfortable to talk and open up about their experiences in a room free of judgment.
